| The Sound Muncher |

| We will be using the Sound Muncher in our classroom this year. We will feed him words and items that contain the letter we are discussing that week. Here is the song we will sing with our Sound Muncher: The Sound Muncher Song To the tune of "This Old Man" The Sound Muncher sings /letter sound/ songs. He sings /letter sound/ songs all day long. With a __ick __ ack __addywhack Sing his silly song. Won't you come and sing along? (Shared with me by Deb Green.) The Sound Muncher will also be part of a center in our classroom. The students will be feeding letter cards to the muncher after they have shared the letter sound and a word that contains that letter with their partner.
