I am a mother,wife, and first grade teacher. I am married to John Dryzal. We met in 1991 when he delivered fifty pounds of potatoes to my parent's house on a Sunday in January. We were married July 8, 1995. We are the proud parents of two children. Our oldest is our 10-year old son, Hunter Joseph. He is a lot of fun and keeps us very busy. We think he's the cutest guy on this planet! He is currently a fourth grade student and loves school. He is a hockey player and avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Our youngest, Madison is 4 years old. She is a very busy little girl who loves books, dancing and music. We are members of SS Casimir and Emerich Church in Johnstown.
I am a 1989 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech. I graduated in 1995 from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
I teach first grade at East Side Elementary in the Greater Johnstown School District. This is my 10th year with Johnstown. I taught at Saint Patrick School for four years. I am a teacher consultant for the Southcentral Pennsylvania Writing Project. I am also a member of the Cambria Area Reading Council, the NCTE and Laurel Highlands Math Alliance. I am permanently certified in the state of Pennsylvania.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and collecting recipes, surfing the net, camping, boating, scrapbooking, and decorating my home.
