If you can help, or donate anything to help make our countdown a success, don't hesitate to send in a note or an email to ldryzal@gjsd.net  This week's events include:
Monday~X—X-and O Day-play tic- tac-toe review games in Spelling, Math and Science!
Tuesday~Y—Year End Cleaning Day-we’ll clean our tables, chairs and the room!
Wednesday~Z—Zip and Zoom out of School—It’s our last day!  Have a wonderful summer!

~Thank you to the families who sent in snacks for our various A to Z days.  The children enjoyed them!


~Our last day of school is Wednesday, June 8th.  Children will be dismissed beginning at approximately 10:25 am.    Report Cards will be sent home that day.

--Students are to report to the classroom immediately upon arrival, if not eating breakfast, or immediately after breakfast each morning.  Students must be in their  homeroom by 9:20 a.m. or they will be marked tardy.

~Be sure to read for 20 minutes a night with your child.  It will make a difference in their reading and writing success.  Find out more here:

~Please remember to sign your child's weekly behavior chart each Friday.

~If your child is absent, please be sure to send in an excuse the day of his/her return to school.

We are in need of tissues and Clorox Wipes for classroom use.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you to the families who have already donated tissues, wipes and sanitizer!

--The Box Tops for Education program is asking you to send in your box tops.  The class that collects the most will get a party!   Box Tops will be collected by the PTA this week.   Also, if you sign up at http://www.boxtops4education.com/Default.aspx
East Side will earn additional Box Top points.
